Recurring booking: This spacious hall is ideal for activities such as church services, community meetings, large fitness classes, and dance/theatre groups. Event bookings: Only a handful of events can be accommodated each year due to a contractual limit on the number of hours that the main building can be open for community use. Please note that our on-site kitchen is unavailable for use, but food options can be arranged as detailed below. If you're interested in hosting an event with us, please be aware of the following criteria: - A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. - Maximum of 200 guests. - The event can last up to 7 hours, with the final hour reserved for cleaning. - Bookings are available on Saturdays until 11pm or Sundays from 1pm to 8pm. - No alcohol, pyrotechnics, or live music is permitted, and all music must end by 10pm. - The venue is for private events only (no public or ticketed events). - While no hot food can be prepared or served on-site (including barbecues and deep frying), you're welcome to bring food to the venue. We suggest using chafing dishes with oil or gel fuel to keep dishes warm, and events with a cold buffet are preferred. - Guests must depart promptly at the end of the booking to avoid additional charges. Please keep in mind that the prices listed on our website are for recurring bookings. If your event fits within these guidelines, we’d love to hear from you. The dimensions of the hall are 20.6m x 10m, including a stage of 8m x 5m and a fully sprung wooden floor with the option of clear space or seating and tables if required. The lighting rig and PA system are not available for use.
