Sedgehill Academy is located in the Catford district of Lewisham, South East London. Recurring booking: This spacious venue offers a wide variety of facilities for sports clubs, dance and theatre schools, supplementary schooling, fitness groups, and church worshipping. The 2G pitch is available for hire Mon-Thurs from 5:30pm until 10pm and on Sundays from 9am until 2pm. Recurring bookings on the main site (sports hall, drama studios etc) are available from 5:30pm to 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:30pm to 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9am to 2pm on Sundays. Event bookings: Only a handful of events can be accommodated each year due to a contractual limit on the number of hours that the main building can be open for community use. Please note that our on-site kitchen is unavailable for use, but food options can be arranged as detailed below. If you're interested in hosting an event with us, please be aware of the following criteria: - A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. - Maximum of 200 guests. - The event can last up to 7 hours, with the final hour reserved for cleaning. - Bookings are available on Saturdays until 11pm or Sundays from 1pm to 8pm. - No alcohol, pyrotechnics, or live music is permitted, and all music must end by 10pm. - The venue is for private events only (no public or ticketed events). - While no hot food can be prepared or served on-site (including barbecues and deep frying), you're welcome to bring food to the venue. We suggest using chafing dishes with oil or gel fuel to keep dishes warm, and events with a cold buffet are preferred. - Guests must depart promptly at the end of the booking to avoid additional charges. Further information: There are 68 parking spaces in the main car park, 6 of these are reserved for disabled parking. To access the 2G pitch car park, use the postcode SE6 3RD (Beckenham Hill Road), which is also the postcode for the church just up the road. There are 28 parking spaces. This venue is exempt from charging VAT on any of its bookings.
